FINALLY....

Here comes the long awaited pictures of the house I have been working on.  This is a newly built house for a wonderful family!  I was sad to see my time with them come to a close.  I hope to get to work together with them in the future on any of their design needs.

Light just pours in the entryway of this craftsman style ranch.

This distressed buffet paired with an over scale clock from the clients previous home meets you just past the entryway.

Large windows bring in the sun and the gorgeous view in this open concept great room.

A custom made sofa table hides the back of a large sectional sofa as you are ushered in.

The large sectional sofa accommodates the size of the room and is great for entertaining family and friends.  It also has multiple recliners which makes it great for television watching.

At one end of the great room is the fireplace and television, flanked by beautiful built-ins. Personal frames and items make this house feel like a home.

To add interest but keep a sophisticated and understated look in this beautiful kitchen, the cooktop hood and island have a deep espresso finish.  The fully padded barstools lend themselves to leisurely hangouts in the kitchen with the cook.

Barn door style pantry door is way cooler than wall art!

The sunroom is a beach cottage inspired place to put up your feet in a chair and a half big enough for two.

With its adjacency to the kitchen it is also a  great place to take the newspaper and coffee, even lunch.

The spacious master suite is well appointed and dons shades of gray with pops of yellow.

The office has ample working space and storage with a custom credenza, which allows for an open desk that greets you when you walk in the door.  There is also a club chair and a cushioned window seat for the family pet.

As you walk downstairs you are greeted by a vignette arranged by all things from their previous home.  Extra special is the table which was made by their son.

The downstairs bar is reminiscent of a sports bar.

The floor has the look of hardwood but is actually ceramic tile, enforcing the pub atmosphere with the ease and durability of tile.

The family room has a relaxed atmosphere.  The ottoman has pull outs to act as the hard surface of a coffee table as well.  They are all ready to watch the game!

This bath is designated for the pool, hence the beachy feel including driftwood inspired ceramic flooring and a white washed custom bench.  Under the bench are baskets for people to put their clothes in while their suits are on.

Their daughter's room is done in a sophisticated color palette of purples and silver.

The custom window treatments add just the right touch of femininity along with privacy and light control.

Their son's room has a cool vibe.

Their other son's room has a masculine edge.
Thank you for looking.  I hope you enjoyed.  It was my absolute pleasure to work with this family.  I thank them for letting me give you a tour of their home.
